The five-door Maruti Jimny, which made its global debut at the Auto Expo 2023, has racked up over 5,000 bookings in under a week. Pre-launch bookings commenced the same day as its reveal and we expect the SUV to hit showroom floors soon. It will come in two broad trims: Zeta and Alpha. The off-roading capable SUV sits on a longer wheelbase than before and gets only a silver grille to differentiate it from the standard model, apart from the obvious stretched body with two extra doors. It also gets a couple of extra features on the inside.

The India-spec Suzuki Jimny is equipped with a 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine that will extract 104PS and 134Nm. A 5-speed manual gearbox and 4-speed automatic transmission are your choice of gearbox options. The Jimny will drive all four wheels and come with a low range transfer case.

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is offered in two broad trims: Zeta and Alpha.

When it comes to colour options, the offroader is offered in Sizzling Red, Granite Grey, Nexa Blue, Bluish Black, And Pearl Arctic White. It also gets Kinetic Yellow hue, which is offered only as a dual tone, while the Sizzling Red gets the option of a black roof.
